|
|
When selecting multiple files to copy (using 0) the copy screen displays the file names as they are copied including a file count. Example:
2/7 when copying the second file out of a total of seven
If more than 9 files have been selected for copying, then the count looks as follows:
6/1 when copying the sixth file out of say fourteen
This is because one digit has gone off the right edge of the screen... This is even more obvious when the copying passes the ninth file to look like:
10/ when copying the tenth file out of fourteen
And when copying more than 100 files it seems to even lose one more character becoming just
10
So, it looks like maybe only 3 characters have been reserved for the file counting capability. One solution is that the file count needs to be moved further to the left to avoid this problem but this would shorten the available characters for the filename... A better suggestion would be to move the filecount up or down a line and either put it on the left side of the screen or reserve enough space for XXX/XXX an upper limit of 999 files and keep it on the right side of the screen...
The same is also applicable of the Cut screen...
Hope this helps...
